A Shackles Drekar formerly captained by Gortus Svard and called the Devil’s Pallor, it was taken in combat by the Crisis while Svard was assaulting the Sea Chanty. The surviving crew swore allegiance to Captain Chopper. After some crew shuffling, Chopper assigned Vrinege—the most experienced of the former slaves rescued from the Dowager Queen—to be skipper of the newly-renamed Strife. The ship patrols the seas around Tidewater Rock to ensure it has some protection while Chopper is otherwise occupied. For armaments, it carries two ballistae.
